Chapter Meetings

All meetings are free and open to the public.

Monthly topic meetings on the third Tuesday of September-November, February-May offer timely information on habitat gardening with native plants and the benefits of natural landscapes. Come early to meet other members and guests or to walk around Wood Lake.

6:15 - 6:30 pm | Room Set Up
6:30 - 7:00 pm | Socializing
7:00 - 7:15 pm | Announcements
7:15 - 8:30 pm | Program

Most programs conducted via Zoom during the pandemic have been recorded and are available for viewing on our chapter YouTube channel. We are pleased to announce that we will be returning to in-person programs at Wood Lake Nature Center beginning with our January 2022 meeting.

In January join us for a family-friendly Winter Seed Sowing Workshop on a Saturday afternoon.

Our May meeting is our Spring Expo, a great introduction to native plant gardening. Bring a friend!

During the Summer months we offer Native Plant Tours and other outdoor activities. Please check our website and follow us on Facebook for updates on dates and locations. If you have a suggestion for a tour, please complete and submit using our Tour Proposal Questionaire.

In November we have our annual Membership Business Meeting where we elect officers and celebrate our fantastic chapter volunteers.
